hose are very wide, which can be classified according to the type of covering glue, reinforcement layer material and processing technology. One of the largest production is the automotive hose, accounting for 50% of the total.
With the development of the automobile industry, the production process of various parts inside the automobile has become more mature and sophisticated. According to statistics, each car needs to use about 20 meters of hose, China's annual production of automobile hose more than 0.5 billion meters.
automotive hose is generally a multi-layer structure, with reinforcing materials sandwiched between the inner rubber layer and the outer rubber layer. The reinforcing materials generally include steel wire, polyester fiber, aramid fiber, nylon 66 fiber, etc. In industrial production, the reinforcing fiber is usually wound on the tube blank of the inner layer hose by knitting, weaving or winding, and then the outer layer hose is covered.
The following is the classification of automobile hose
1. Cooling system hose
The automobile cooling system hose connects the engine and the radiator, and transfers heat through the coolant. Can be subdivided into radiator hose (high temperature resistance) and heater hose (high temperature resistance and pulse vibration resistance) usually working water temperature of 125 ℃. The reinforcement material of
cooling system hose is mainly para-aramid fiber and polyester fiber. Usually para-aramid fibers, such as Teijin Aramid's Twaron®series and DuPont's Kevlar®The series has good heat resistance and can work under the condition of 160 ℃ for a long time. In addition, Teijin Aramid's Technora®Series aramid can withstand higher temperature, long-term use temperature can reach 190 ℃.
2. Air conditioning system hose
The earliest refrigerant in automobile air conditioning system is Freon. As Freon destroys the ozone layer, China has completely banned it since 2000. The refrigerant currently in use is R134a.
The air conditioning system hose usually uses nylon as the barrier layer material, the outer rubber layer is made of EPDM rubber, and the intermediate reinforcement layer is made of polyester fiber or polyvinyl acetal (vinylon) fiber, and a small amount of aramid fiber is also used, which is the most widely used polyester fiber in China.
The next generation of automotive air conditioning system refrigerants will use carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is a refrigerant with excellent environmental protection, but as an air conditioning system refrigerant, it needs to be used under supercritical conditions, which puts forward higher requirements for temperature resistance, pressure resistance and penetration resistance of the hose. It is a good choice to use para-aramid fiber as the reinforcement material, which has been studied by domestic and foreign rubber hose manufacturers.
3. Turbocharged hose
Generally, turbocharged hose can be divided into high-temperature hose and low-temperature hose after passing through the intercooler. Among them, the use temperature of the high-temperature section hose is higher, usually up to 210°C, and ordinary reinforcement layer materials (such as polyester fiber and nylon fiber) simply cannot withstand such high temperatures.
Twaron of Teijin Aramid Corporation®Series and Technora®Series Aramid Yarn, DuPont Kevlar®Series aramid yarn can withstand high temperature environment for a long time, widely used in turbocharged rubber hose.
4. Brake hose
Brake hose is an important safety component of the vehicle, which requires very high product quality and stability. The rubber of the inner and outer rubber layers of the brake hose is usually made of EPDM rubber, and the reinforcement material is mostly made of vinylon fiber or aramid fiber.
brake hose has extremely strict requirements for expansion and deformation under high pressure. The high strength and high modulus characteristics of aramid fiber can fully meet the requirements of low deformation.
5. Fuel hose
Automobile fuel hose includes fuel delivery hose and hose that supplies fuel to the engine. It is an important safety component and requires more material performance.
The traditional fuel hose uses the structure of inner rubber layer-reinforced layer-outer rubber layer, and the fiber reinforced layer is added between the rubber layer and the rubber layer by winding or weaving process. The maximum operating temperature of the fuel hose can reach 130 ℃. Therefore, many fuel hoses use aramid fiber reinforced layers with good high temperature resistance and low elongation.
6. Power steering hose
The power steering hose of a car is divided into hydraulic steering system hose and electronic steering system hose. The traditional hydraulic steering hose contact medium is mineral oil, which requires good high temperature resistance and no leakage, and the maximum operating temperature can reach 150 ℃. The reinforced layer material of
hydraulic steering hose can be made of nylon 66 fiber and aramid fiber. New types of automotive power steering systems increasingly use electronic steering systems. The system does not require the use of high-pressure pumps and steering media, nor does it require hose connections.
